The inefficiency of the formal education and its disability to keep pace with everyday’ changing market demand is the problem that the company Brainster is trying to address. Brainster is platform that intends to change the learning process the same way AirBnB changed the process of travel planning. The platform enables everyone who has valuable skills and expertiseto share knowledge with others through offline classes and workshops.Experts or experienced people in different industries and fields can create a course on the platform and then Brainster’s team reviews and approves the course. Brainster provides the classroom and promotes and sells the course online to the potential target audience. The trainer should only focus on designing his class to deliver the best possible experience and engagement for the participants. Courses cover wide range of topics including: technology, business, marketing, design, photography, film, etc. Additionally, Brainster collaborates with other companies and organizations in order to find the perfect job and fit for the participants and the companies. Brainster’s vision is to transform every corner of the city into an urban classroom.
The process of learning new skills is easy and fun because of the local experts, the nontraditional but urban classrooms and the unlimited possibilities of networking. There is no limit on the new teaching methods and styles that each instructor can implement during his process of transferring knowledge.
Economic impact: Through enriched knowledge, many young people in this small Balkan country will be able to discover their career path and launch their own businesses bringing the much-needed innovation in the country’s fragile business sector.
Social impact: Through different programs Brainster stands for the community, for the sole purpose of giving back values, upon which generations can develop themselves further.
